Pony All-Stars 'get on the bus'

Some called it a parade but it was really a bus load of All-Stars riding down Pine Ave. The streets weren’t closed and the bus had to stop at all the red lights as the Long Beach Pony rode a double-decker bus down Pine Ave. Long Beach defeated Chinese-Taipei, 3-2, on Oliver Van Buskirk’s home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the Pony World Series in Washington, Pa. on Aug. 16. The Decline of Pine continues…

Z Gallerie announced it will close its Pine Ave. location when the building, which Z Galleire owns, is sold. The retailer sits in the same block that used to house Express, Bath & Body Works and Crate and Barrel but now is a string of empty store fronts.

Tuckered Out
